Simone Mariote has extensive experience in marketing, branding, sales, and communication, acquired from global companies. She has held various positions with Preferred Hotels & Resorts since joining the company in 2002, including Account Manager, Operations and Product Manager, Regional Director for South America, Director of Global Sales, and Vice President, Global Sales for Latin America.

A professional with 26 years of experience in the tourism sector and very active in the South American region, Simone started her professional career at Pegasus Solutions representing hotel brands such as Summit Hotels, Sterling Hotels, and Thistle Hotels. She acquired extensive experience in sales, marketing, communications, and distribution in the world of travel, attending multiple shows such as ILTM, WTM, ABAV, Festuris, Anato, FIT and Emotions. She has earned a reputation for her impressive ability to revitalize and enhance revenue growth in emerging regions.

Mariote is a lawyer with a Master in Marketing from FGV Brazil and Certification in Hospitality and Tourism Management at FAU – Florida Atlantic University and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. She resides in Sao Paulo with her husband and two teenagers.
